Meditations

Our practice focuses on one of the Buddha’s favored meditation techniques, Anapanasati, which literally translates as mindfulness of the in breath and the out breath. This technique brings our mind into our bodies in order to have a direct experience of the body, to be fully present and aware in this moment, to develop concentration, and to observe the arising and passing away of all phenomena. Ultimately, this enables us to frame our lives in the context of the Four Noble Truths: to understand stress, its cause, experience its cessation, and develop the path leading to cessation. If you have questions, or would like to discuss your meditation practice, please feel free to Contact Us.

This 60-minute mediation includes a discussion on Anapanasati and mediation practice, it is followed by three twenty-minute meditation sessions.

If you are new to meditation, or restarting your practice, we suggest beginning with the 30-minute guided meditation with callbacks and work your way up to 10 minutes, then 20 minutes, and then 30 minutes over the course of several weeks.

The following is a 30-minute mediation without any callbacks.
